How to make Crochet Rose flower Coaster cum flower bouquet

The other day  I was scrolling on IG the viral Rose flower coaster  and blanket cum Flower bouquet caught my eye , the stunning design and clever idea was commendable. My crochet intrinsic desire want to make it and here it is                                                                 

How to start making the coaster :                                                                                                                       

Firstly I created a magic ring and then increased it by doing single crochet until reached the desirable size of coaster , here is a tip if you want to create a big blanket keep doubling the rows .   After reaching desired size of coaster or blanket it is time to add crochet roses to this coaster.                                                                                   

                                                                             

                                                                     

How to make a crochet rose :                                                                                                                    

Crochet Rose can be easily made through starting with chains , Firstly make a chain and increase the rows on chain at least 3 rows through single crochet. Now its time to assemble  rose by rotating the chain  made above  towards inwards and combining through single crochet   going through the chain  to make a rose.                                                                                                                                                                

The rose should appear like this after combining through single crochet.

Now simply attach these roses on coaster or blanket through single crochet stitch or we can simply stitch them with needle and red thread.                                                                                                 

Now the interesting and most easy part to make a flower bouquet simply by rotating the blanket starting from the middle it would appear like this                                                                                                        

Now simply place this in a crochet flower pot , I have created the below red flower pot with base as a magic ring I will post a detailed post on How to create flower pots and vases in upcoming posts

Details of materials used

Yarn - I have used velvet yarn for the coaster ,4ply Acrylic yarn for Roses and Flower pot

Crochet hook - 2mm hook 

 

Scissors, Needle for sewing, red thread for sewing .
