Remembrance Day poppy
Remembrance Day is around the corner . 11th November is observed Remembrance Day or Memorial Day to honor armed forces members who have died in wars and conflicts . It is also observed that this date marked the end of World war I thereby a reason to honor the service and sacrifice for the ones who died in wars, conflicts and peace operations.
I had made this Crochet Poppy Flower for Remembrance Day as the flower symbolizes the blood and sacrifice of soldiers who have died in wars and conflict.
I had made the poppy flower buds and leaves too along with the flowers . I can share pattern if anyone is interested comment in the blog .
Materials used
Acrylic yarn 4 ply;
Crochet hook 3.5 mm ; fiber fill;
Craft wire;
Floral stalks.
