Free Pattern Crochet Christmas Ornament

 Its the Xmas Day around the corner if you are looking for last minute Christmas ornament for decorating Christmas tree. Here I will provide three of the easy to make Crochet  Christmas ornament that can be made in jiffy . 

Santa Claus Face ornament {Free pattern down below}

First we will  start with light brown color from the center to make Santa face                                  

R1                                                                                                                                                              

MR , 2ch, 12dc in mr , sl st , close the circle                                                               

R2                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

 2ch, DC inc   in every stitch, sl st .                                                                               

Now we need to change the yarn to white and cut Light Brown yarn                                                                      

                                               

R3                                                                                                                                                                              

   Attach white yarn from the middle of 2 dcs .  ch2  , 1dc, 2dc  , 1dc, 2dc and it will continue till end of round, sl st .  Here we complete the face of Santa , in next round we will make beard of Santa 

R4                                                                                                                                                         

 We will make beard now from white yarn  we will start from making 2ch, skip 2 stitches, 5dc in same stitch, skip 2 stitches, sl st, skip 2 stitches, 6dc in same stitch, sl st, skip 2 stitches, 5dc in same stitch ,skip 2 stitch ,  sl st   . cut the yarn off    , this is how we made beard of Santa claus.

Now in R5 we will make red cap   of Santa Claus  for that we will use red color yarn    and now we will attach red color yarn at the opposite side of beard.  We will start with 1ch, 1sc, 1sc, 2sc , 1sc, 1sc ,2sc 1sc, 1sc ,2sc , 1sc, 1sc, 2sc and continue till the end of row.                                                             

R7                                                                                                                                                                    

Now we will turn our work and make 7 ch, skip 2 stitches in chain , 1sc , 1sc, 1sc, 1hdc, 1hdc. 

R8                                                                                                                                                                    

Now on the hat again 1dc, 1dc, 1dc, dc inc, 1dc , 1dc, 1dc,dc  inc  continue till hand , here if you are planning to hang Santa Claus ten make a handle in the middle of pattern by making 12 ch or                       whatever length is required accordingly.                                                                                                                                  

R9                                                                                                                                                                  Now we will make puff for the hat   attach white yarn at the tip of hat , 1ch, 6 incomplete hdc  and pull the yarn through all of the loops. cut the yarn after sl st.                                                                    

R10                                                                                                                                                                     

Moustache of Santa claus , we will start with white yarn  slipknot, 6sc, dc trc in first stitch of chain, 6ch , dc trc in the first stitch of new chain. cut the yarn leaving long yarn to stitch with needle from middle to make a moustache.  After stitching attach this moustache in the center of face which we made in 1st round.

 make a nose of Santa claus  with red color yarn for that we can follow same pattern as we used for making pom pom for the hat in R9 .
